The Final Frontier

Africa is a continent, not a country - I never knew. Next they'll be telling us the earth revolves around the sun!

We broke the intarnets

So we've had a bit of an upheaval here at Conversations headquarters (not entirely unlike those volcanoes that were popping up in the La Brea Tar Pits in that epic Tommy Lee Jones movie - only not quite so realistic).

We've gone from our own Wordpress install to Wordpress.com to Blogger at least three times, and back to our own Wordpress install, where Bob had a bit of an accident with some InnoDB and MyISAM tables and a screwdriver and some weird thing that Lars kept calling a "spanner" but we think he had too much to drink - and now finally back to Blogger again.

I'm sure we'll move our gigantic lumbering behinds to somewhere else before it's all over with - but really, isn't that what Dinosaurs do?

What this all should mean is that feeds work again - and since you were reading this site through the feed anyway (Really, we can't possibly imagine why you wouldn't) - all of that should be normal again. Actually, all of the feeds should have popped back up in your Feed reader - which is great because you can download your favorites again.

What this will mean is that if you ever linked to one of our archives - well that's broken. I mean - they are called permalinks for a reason you know? Kind of like permafrost between ice ages.

Anyway, we broke the intarnets. And we're sorry. But we have brains the size of a walnut, and well, what were we saying?

We'll make up for it.

One day.

With pterodactyls.
